The Passenger-Cargo Security Group is a trade association dedicated to inform, educate, and participate in aviation security solutions. PCSG works with legislators, regulators, aviation security professionals, manufacturers, and the media in an effort to improve aviation security.

Who Are the PCSG Officers?
PCSG was conceived and developed by commercial airline pilots from both passenger airlines, and all-cargo airlines. After the September 11th tragedy, it became clear that it does not matter whether an aircraft belongs to an all-cargo airline or a passenger airline, it may still be used as a weapon of mass destruction. PCSG officers promote one level of security, understanding that "one size does not fit all", and recognize that different techniques may be required for various applications. The pilots that comprise the leadership of PCSG have all been actively engaged in the improvement of airline security since September 2001. PCSG is not a labor organization, and is absent of any agenda, other than to improve airline security. Their operational point of view is “from the cockpit.” In other words, these pilots fly a variety of aircraft to destinations throughout the United States and around the world. They have first-hand experience of what works and what is wasteful. It is from this point of view and expertise as pilots that their security effort continues forward for improvements and solutions.
